Public consultation on Lawrence Hill development proposal

Abbey Manor Homes Ltd. invites you to a public consultation event, and welcomes your views on a new proposal for a mixed-use development on the West side of Wincanton, on Lawrence Hill.

Wincanton's recently adopted Neighbourhood Plan allocates this land for expansion, with a view to accommodating both residential and employment developments.

This development would comprise approximately 70-80 residential dwellings and 9,000sqm of employment space, along with associated surface water drainage basins and a green buffer zone to promote biodiversity.

Access to the new site would be gained primary from a fifth arm of the roundabout on Lawrence Hill to the South of the site, with secondary access from Crocker Way on the New Barns development. There would also be a new cycle path to link in with the network indicated by the Neighbourhood Plan.
