Second Midweek Mingle - 11th May

If you popped into The Red Lion Cafe Bar in Wincanton on Wednesday 13th April you couldn't have missed the hubbub of activity that was the first Midweek Mingle. There was a great gathering of women from Accountants to Burlesquers and everything in between, all there with the intention of meeting new people, telling everybody about their business and enjoying a drink with like minded souls.

In March 2011 The Federation of Small Businesses reported that women owned businesses make up 29% of self employed people in the UK and that women's enterprise contributes around £130 billion turnover, that's the national picture and the local one is that over 17% of businesses in this region are wholly female led and that figure is set to increase. This means that all around us are bright, savvy business women who have a lot to offer.

The Midweek Mingle is a place for all those entrepreneurial women to meet and support one another to ensure future growth and survival of their businesses, have a break from the daily grind and meet other women.

We'll be meeting again on Wednesday 11th May at 7.30pm in the stylishly refurbished Red Lion Cafe Bar. Entry is £5 excluding drinks; all you need to do is book your spot by either emailing or telephoning 07872075564 then come along with business cards and a smile.
