Showtime – A Live Variety Charity Performance in Wincanton

The Event

Showtime is a live Variety Performance being held at Wincanton Memorial Hall on Saturday 28th March 2015, with doors opening from 7.00pm.

Local bands and performers will gather to support including live bands, singers, burlesque performers, drag acts and a pole performance. Find out more about the show at our Facebook page, and please Like and Share the event with others.

The event has been organised in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity (TCHC) – a cause I have been supporting over the past 9 months. It aims to raise over £5,000 by the end of March 2015. I will also be running the Yeovil Half Marathon on Sunday 29th March 2015 – the day after the event.

The Charity

TCHC raises vital funds for one of only four stand-alone children’s hospitals in the UK – the Sheffield Children’s Hospital – one that is not as recognised as the others – Great Ormond Street, Alder Hey and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The charity is busy adding specialist equipment, funding vital research (otherwise unavailable to the NHS), creating single occupancy units for a better experience for patients and family members and making a difference to thousands of lives across the UK – and the world.
