Sponsored bike riders - Western GazetteFriends and work colleagues Neil Spinney, Mark Henley & Dave Taton are currently looking for sponsors for their Charity Cycle Ride from Wincanton, Somerset to Lands End. The route will take them along the coastal road and is approximately a 565 mile round trip.

The charities they are riding for are the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Alzheimer's Society. They aim to raise £10,000 in sponsorship to be split between the 2 charities.

Starting on Saturday 5th June 2010, they aim to complete the ride in 10 days which will also include stops at various towns and businesses to help promote the two charities.

You will be able to track their progress via the instamapper website offering you a true live experience of their trip. They will also be posting daily reports (video diary etc) on their web page and blog.

All business sponsors will be promoted by any media coverage and website links and they will also have a sign written support vehicle with sponsors' logos for the event. They are currently looking for help in organising any media coverage, getting sponsorship and equipment for the task they have set themselves.
