Sponsored Swim for Guide Dogs for the Blind Association

On Sunday 13th September there will be a sponsored swim at the Wincanton Sports Centre swimming pool in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

Swimmers need to choose the distance they want to swim, and arrange their own sponsors. Participants may swim any time between 8.00am and 2.00pm.

In addition, there will be a cake sale in the lobby of the swimming pool, organised by Cynthia Christine Deane, who is herself blind with her own guide dog.

We hope to raise a large sum for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, which is entirely reliant on donations since it doesn't receive any government grants.
