The Wincanton Warriors U12s team is looking for new players for the coming season

The Wincanton Warriors U12s team is currently looking for new players to add to the squad for the coming season. The team plays in the Yeovil & District Youth League and matches will be on Sunday afternoons.

The team currently trains on Tuesdays and Fridays between 6pm and 7:15pm at Wincanton Sports Ground on Moor Lane. Training sessions are fun, but also competitive, with work being put in as the team moves from Under 12s (Year 7) to Under 13s (Year 8). As the team will be moving on to a full size pitch from September the training is to be a mixture of fitness, sharpness and set pieces until the season starts.

The team has been extremely successful in previous seasons and the players have progressed considerably both as a group and as individuals. They battled their way to the Division 1 Cup Final, having had a fantastic season in the top division. They hope to play with the same quality and determination next season as they continue to learn and develop.
