Charity Reception Raises £700 for Harry's Hydro Appeal

David Warburton, Parliamentary Candidate for Somerton & Frome, hosted a fundraising reception attended by more than one hundred guests, raising £700 for the Frome-based Harry's Hydro hydrotherapy pool and sensory centre.

"I'm thrilled that so many people came to support our fundraising event for Harry's Hydro," he said. "The hydrotherapy pool and sensory centre needs thousands of pounds a year just to cover its basic running costs, so fundraising is essential to us keeping this vital resource.

"We're incredibly lucky to have this amazing facility in Somerset. Thanks to the hard work and determination of Harry's Hydro Appeal's founder Paula Fox, hundreds of local people can benefit from the work they do with disabled children and adults in Somerset. It was great to hand over the cheque to Paula, and I look forward to more in the future."

The event was held at Yarlington House by the kind permission of Count and Countess de Salis and was hosted by David Warburton.
