Funding Available for Community Groups in the Wincanton Area

Somerset Community Foundation supports projects working with disadvantaged people to transform lives and strengthen local communities.

We are looking for applications from grass roots groups in local communities that clearly show the difference the project will make for local people. Our funding is made available through donations from companies, local individuals and trusts, and our average grant size is £1,500.

We have funding available for projects that:

• Support vulnerable, isolated and lonely older people and their carers.
• Improve life opportunities for disadvantaged children, young people and their familie.
• Support communities affected by rural disadvantage.

We do not support national charities; animal welfare; the promotion of religion; activities that have already taken place; or those that are a statutory responsibility.
