Kimbers Award-Winning Farm Shop is Moving to New Premises!
After eight very successful years, the Kimber family are moving their renowned farm shop to even larger and more accessible local premises, selling home bred and reared meats, chicken, ducks, turkeys, geese, dairy, vegetables, fish and natural, unpasteurised milk.
Fenton Rutter Remembered
Fenton Rutter, the well known retired Wincanton solicitor, died recently at the age of 92. The fifth generation of Rutters to run his family business, his funeral took place in the Parish Church on Thursday 7th August.
Repairs Begin on Wall at St Peter and St Paul’s Church
After much delay and frustration, work has now begun to repair the damage from one of Wincanton's more notorious recent incidents. Repairs to the entry wall at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Wincanton, will take place over the next month or two.
Tennis Marathon on Sunday in Support of Court Resurfacing
On Sunday 24th August Dan Cahill, the new Tennis Coach at Wincanton Tennis Club, will be undertaking a non-stop tennis marathon from 8am to 8pm to raise funds for the courts' resurfacing.
