Wessex Water Issues “Boil Water” Notice to Some Villages in Wincanton Area UPDATED
Wessex Water has asked its customers living in the Bratton Seymour, Shepton Montague, Yarlington, and Maperton areas of Somerset to boil their water before using it, as a precautionary measure after the company found the water supply was not of its usual standard.

South Somerset have announced that there is an error in their poster for today’s Playday in Wincanton. The poster shows the event running between 10am and 1pm. The event actually starts at 1pm and runs through till 4pm. Please pass the word to everyone you know.

Wincanton hosted its first Skate Jam back on 12th August, attracting participants from as far as Yeovil to the free youth day. Spectators were treated to a stunning show of acrobatic skills.
