This year’s Nicholson Lecture is given by distinguished speaker Graham Mottram. It follows the careers of Lieutenant Rex Warneford and Squadron Commander Richard Bell-Davies, the first naval aviators to win the Victoria Cross, one hundred years ago.

David Warburton, local MP for Somerton and Frome, joined the Armed Forces Day celebrations in Wincanton on Saturday 27th June. While his son James inspected various armoured patrol vehicles, David spoke with serving soldiers and members of the British Legion.
