Funding is available for projects that support vulnerable, isolated and lonely older people and their carers; to improve life opportunities for disadvantaged children, young people and their families and to support communities affected by rural disadvantage. This year’s Poppy Appeal is now virtually finished. Nearly all of the donations have been counted and banked. The total amount of donations stands at £15,635, for which the British Legion would like to thank everyone.
